Congratulations to percussionist Connor Castillo and trumpet player Logan Francesco! Yesterday, they performed with the All State Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphonic Band, respectively. These are 2 of the 4 most outstanding band and orchestra ensembles in the country with the very best student musicians. Wonderful job over the past few days putting together great performances! OBJECTIVES We are now in the 5th week of this 4th grading period. Objectives were handed out 3 weeks ago and the deadline to complete them is fast approaching. Times have been available for students to sign up and play off for a director. Remember that your student can attempt their objectives as many time as they would like, before the completion date, for as high of a grade as possible. Please remind your student not to wait until the last minute to complete these. CHUCK SHIRTS Today is the final day to order your 2019/2020 Chuck shirt. Orders are live at BrandeisBand.org. Shirts are $10 - $12. Last day to order your shirt is Sunday, February 16, 2020. GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA CONCERT Tonight is the Glenn Miller Orchestra concert in the Brandeis auditorium. There are less than 200 tickets still available. I highly encourage that your student attends this concert to see professional musicians in a live and up close setting. The show will begin around 5:45 pm with doors opening at 5 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door or at BroncoJazz.com. MULCH KICK OFF On Tuesday, we kicked off our Mulch fundraiser. Last year, the program sold 3,200 bags of mulch. This year, our program goal is 4,000 bags sold. As long as we hit our team goal, the section with the highest average of bags sold per student will earn a party at Top Golf! Place your orders at BroncoMulch.com. The deadline to order is next Saturday, the 29th of February.
