Director’s Newsletter #25-19, March 1, 2020 Good morning everyone! Here is what you will find in this week's newsletter: •OBJECTIVES •MULCH UPDATE •MULCH DELIVERY •EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR CELEBRATION •WINTER GUARD CONTEST OBJECTIVES Objectives for the 5th 6 weeks have been passed out to all wind and percussion students. As mentioned earlier, all students must pass off their objectives at a 90% or better to attend the Concert & Sight Reading assessment in early April. Those students still needing to do so have until this Friday, March 6 to do so. All details for the objective assignments are on your student's objective sheets. MULCH UPDATE
Today is the last day to order your mulch! If you have yet to do so, please place your order HERE. MULCH DELIVERY Like last year we need all students to show up on Saturday, March 7 to help with mulch delivery. Student report time is 8 am. We invite all parents to join in as well! If you have a truck and are available to help with delivery, please reach out to Mr. Crittenden at Jerry@blinsurance.com. The more drivers we have, the faster the process will go. EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR CELEBRATION Mr. Lemanski will be recognized on Wednesday, March 4th at the Educator of the Year awards. The event is at the Brennan HS auditorium at 6:30 pm and is open to the public. The event gets very crowded so if you plan on attending, please arrive at 6 pm. Show up and support Mr. Lemanski as he is now in the running to be named Northside’s First Year Educator of the Year for all secondary schools. WINTER GUARD CONTEST Our winter guards will be performing at Harlan HS this Saturday in their 3rd contest of the season! The JV unit performs at 11:51 am and the Varsity will be at 4:27 pm. Come out and support these great students as they have been working hard and are making their way into their final contest of the season that will take place later this month.
