9 Students selected to Region Jazz

Congratulations to the students who earned a chair at the All Region Jazz Band Auditions on Saturday. Students who placed in the 1st Jazz Band are: Bailey Hungate 2nd chair alto sax, Jonathan Rodriguez 1st chair bari sax, Ian Aigner-Varoz 3rd chair trumpet, Andrew Schofield 4th chair trumpet, and David Lozano 2nd chair drum set. These students also advanced to All Area and will record their audition to compete for All State on October 4th at O’Connor High School. Congrats also to the following students who made the 2nd Jazz Band: Nathan Bambacigno 2nd Chair Alto Sax, Cade Kouba 1st chair bari sax, Jared Barry 2nd chair trombone, and Leo Filyk 2nd chair trumpet. The All Region Jazz concert will be held on November 11, 2:30 p.m. at OCHS.
