5 Students Selected to All State Band
Congratulations to the twenty two students who competed at the TMEA All-State audition held at the Akins High School in Austin this past Saturday. Brandeis had a record of FIVE students selected to the 6A All-State Band. Congrats to Antonio Jasiczek, 1st chair flute; Adam Kuhn, 1st chair clarinet; Eric Jin, 6th chair clarinet; Ian Aigner-Varoz, 8th chair trumpet; and Connor Castillo 4th chair percussion. This is the second time for Eric and third time for Antonio to make the Texas All State Band. These five students will perform at the TMEA Convention on February 14 – 17 at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in Downtown San Antonio.

The directors are very proud of the hard work and dedication of these students making large strides in becoming wonderful musicians by auditioning in the rigorous audition process.
