Cornyval Parking Update
As today wraps up our annual Cornyval Parking Fundraiser, I’d like to thank all of our students and parents who volunteered their time for the program. As we’ve been saying, this is our final fundraiser of the year and has been a consistent event for our program for nearly 10 years.
Our organization would not be able to work such a large event without the great leadership of Mr. Keith Kouba. Mr. Kouba has been working extremely hard to recruit kids and parents for more than a month to make sure that Cornyval was successful. Mr. Kouba, thank you for your willingness to step up and lead us through this!
Booster Meeting
This Tuesday, May 7th will be our monthly booster meeting. Parents please make time to attend as we begin our rollover process into the 2019/20 school year. The meeting will begin at 7 pm.
Percussion Auditions
Percussion auditions are taking place on Wednesday & Thursday of this week, as scheduled during our percussion camp. Each day of camp will go until 6 pm. If you have any questions regarding this, please be sure to contact Mr. Suarez at David.Suarez@nisd.net.
Jazz Spring Concert
The final jazz concert will be happening on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm in the Brandeis auditorium. Come out and listen to our full jazz ensemble and combo perform, along with the jazz ensembles from our feeder middle schools, Stinson & Garcia MS.
6:30 pm - Stinson MS Jazz
6:45 pm - Brandeis Jazz Combo
7:00 pm - Garcia MS Jazz
7:30 pm - Brandeis Jazz Ensemble
Band Banquet
The Bronco Band Minecraft Banquet will be taking place this Friday evening at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch. Invitations that have been purchased will be passed out on Tuesday. The guest list has been posted outside of the director’s office. Students should double check that their name and their guest’s name (parents as well) are posted on that list. Tuesday will be the final day to check and ensure the list is correct.
Senior Pictures for Banquet
If you have a senior student and have yet to turn in pictures, please email a baby, middle school, and senior portrait photos TODAY to Joseph.Aigner-Varoz@hotmail.com.
Drum Major & Leadership Applications
Drum Major & Leadership applications were passed out on Friday. If your student needs an application, please have them see a director. Applications are due no later than Friday, May 10th.
EOC & AP Testing
This week is full of EOC & AP testing across the campus. Please make sure your students are properly taking care of themselves to be ready to do well on these tests! We wish all of our students the best of luck on their exams!
Please be sure to check the calendar below for this week’s events and as always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at Daniel.Asgari@nisd.net.
GO BRONCOS!
