A special thanks goes to all of our parents who have been helping with summer concessions. We appreciate you taking time out of your day to spend with and make sure that the students are well fed, hydrated, and taken care of! We couldn’t do this without you!

CONCESSIONS

Concession dates are now available to sign up for. We need as much help as possible with these as possible. PLEASE take a look at the dates HERE and see if you can help with any of them. Thanks to Pete Escobar for leading our concessions this year! Let’s show every other booster program why the Brandeis Band Boosters are amazing!

BACKGROUND CHECK

While you can submit this at registration, you can save yourself some time and fill out the background check form NOW. Please go HERE to do so! Remember, if you plan on volunteering FOR ANY SCHOOL FUNCTION, BAND OR NOT, you must clear the NISD background check.

REGISTRATION DATES CHANGE

As explained in Friday’s email, our registration dates have been changed to Wednesday and Friday, August 5th & 7th. Registration begins at 5 pm. In the past we’ve had parents begin lining up between 4 and 4:30 pm to beat the rush. If possible, it’s never a bad idea to do this.

PICTURE DAY

Morgan Photography will be taking individual pictures of kids on Saturday, Aug 10th. These are the photos you can get buttons and other items to wear to games and events. Pricing information is available HERE. If you’d like to sign up for a picture time, please go HERE.

COLORGUARD & FIELD DANCE will have a separate picture day. We’d like to get them a date when their costumes come in, which are slated to arrive prior to the start of school. Forgive me for not mentioning this in Friday’s message but I did communicate this with the students last week. When the costumes do arrive, we will set up an additional day for them so that parents can get photos done.

FOOTBALL GAME TICKETS ONLINE

Northside is now selling football season and game day tickets online. All information regarding this can be found HERE. Please be sure to check this out today as tickets go on sale, TOMORROW, August 5, 2019.

OCTOBER 5, SAT DAY

As an early notice, please remember that we have a contest in Austin on October 5th, 2019. It is recommended that you do not sign up for this SAT day as we don’t yet have our performance schedule. To help with this, you can find all of the upcoming SAT registration dates and sign up information HERE. Please double check the calendar for possible conflicts.

If you are a junior, it is highly recommended that you begin thinking about your SAT testing dates now to come with a plan to allow you to achieve your best score to submit with your college applications.
